Colorado Employment Unemployment Statistics
The economy is dragging along and there is very little help to be expected from the local government as well the Federal Government. Grid-lock in DC is definitely to go on until after the 2012 election if you ask me. The Tea Party has already shown that they are willing to wreck this county when the shutdown of the Federal Government loomed during summer and unfortunately that is going to continue until election time next year. The Denver Metro Area has 3 main areas with large concentrations of companies: The Denver Tech Center (DTC), Downtown Denver, and of course the Interlocken / Broomfield area. Over the years the occupancy in the Internlocken Business Park in Broomfield has certainly changed. SUN Microsystems has been acquired by Oracle as an example.
